• Can I bring a plus-one?
Please refer to your invitation. Due to venue capacity, only guests listed on the invitation are invited.
• Can I bring my children?
Absolutely! We are delighted to celebrate with guests of all ages.
• What language will the ceremony be in?
The Indian ceremony will be conducted in English.
• What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins at 04:00 pm to allow time for check-in and seating.
• What should I wear?
The dress code is western or ethnic formal attire. We recommend light and comfortable attire suitable for the local weather.
• Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony is planned to take place outdoors. Dinner, dancing, and the rest of the celebration will be held indoors.
• Will transportation be provided?
As guests will be staying in different locations and may have different schedules, we will not be organizing group transportation. We recommend using Uber, which is safe, convenient, and readily available throughout São Paulo. Drivers can drop you off directly at the venue entrance.
• Where should I stay?
We have listed some recommended hotels and accommodation options on this website. If you prefer to choose your own hotel, any hotel in or near these central neighborhoods will be practical & safe:

• Will there be vegetarian options?
Yes! Vegetarian options will be available throughout the celebration. If you have any other dietary restrictions or food allergies, please let us know when submitting your RSVP.
• Do I need a visa to visit Brazil?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality and may change over time. We recommend checking the latest requirements with your local Brazilian consulate or embassy well before making travel arrangements.
As of today, citizens of most European countries and Japan can visit Brazil visa-free for short tourist stays. Citizens of the United States and India generally require an eVisa prior to travel. Please verify the latest requirements applicable to your passport before booking your trip.
• What is the nearest airport?
São Paulo is served by two main airports:
• Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) – the primary airport for international arrivals for all of Brazil.
• Congonhas Airport (CGH) – the most convenient airport for domestic flights within Brazil and many regional destinations in South America.
Both airports are well connected to the city by taxi and Uber.
• Can I use credit cards in Brazil, or should I bring cash?
Credit cards are widely accepted throughout Brazil, including at restaurants, hotels, shops, and for Uber rides. We recommend bringing at least one credit card and notifying your bank before traveling if necessary.
Many guests also find Revolut, Wise, or similar travel cards convenient for payments and ATM withdrawals. While it can be useful to carry a small amount of cash, most visitors can comfortably get by using cards for nearly all purchases.
• What is the weather like in May?
May is generally a pleasant month in São Paulo, with mild temperatures and relatively low rainfall. We recommend bringing a light jacket for the evening.
• Is São Paulo safe?
Like any major city, São Paulo requires some common-sense precautions. We recommend using Uber for transportation, avoiding displaying valuables, and staying aware of your surroundings. The areas where most guests are expected to stay and visit are generally safe and well frequented. Walking around during the day is usually fine, after dark avoid empty streets - if in doubt, always call an uber.
